Canadian Securities Course® Exam Preparation
This accredited exam prep seminar, offered in association with Moody's Analytics / CSI, provides classroom instruction of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC®). Whether advancing your career as a securities sales representative or you are an active investor wanting to improve your own portfolio performance, this seminar is for you. Led by industry experts using CSI materials, this seminar provides a comprehensive study of the Canadian securities industry.  Topics include financial statements, formulae for evaluating investments, common and preferred stocks, bonds, mutual funds, derivatives, RRSPs, and portfolio building. For students enrolled in the CSC, this session complements your self-study and prepares you to write the CSC exams administered by Moody’s Analytics / CSI.

As the licensing requirement for mutual fund sales professionals in Canada, IFSE Institute’s CIFC is the course of choice for anyone pursuing an in-depth knowledge of mutual funds. IFSE Institute is wholly owned by the Investment Funds Institute of Canada (IFIC).  Delve into case studies and the real-life issues relating to mutual funds sales and individual compliance. Course topics include mutual fund administration, taxation of investment income, duties and obligations of a salesperson, role of the portfolio manager, pensions and retirement income, and competitive products.
