We are offering a range of information sessions to help you learn more about programs and connect with us to have your questions answered. The best part, you can participate in any of these sessions virtually, in the comfort of your own home. Select from general MRU sessions, events by programs that may interest you, or attend an Indigenous or international students info session for info specific to our services and supports for you. Schedule an MRU presentation for your class
Please connect with your designated Admissions and Recruitment Specialist to schedule a virtual class presentation.
Presentations can be customized to the needs and interests of your students and can be delivered during any regularly scheduled grade 10, 11, or 12 class time. We are also available during a lunch hour, or we could schedule an evening event.
1:1 meetings
Our Admissions and Recruitment Specialists are also available for 1:1 meetings with prospective students and their supporters to provide information on our programs and admission requirements. Currently, we are offering meetings in-person, on campus, with a limit of 3 people (student plus 2 supporters). We will continue to offer virtual appointments as well.
Campus tours
In-person campus tours can be scheduled during 1:1 meetings with Admissions and Recruitment Specialists. If you are interested in scheduling a class tour of the university please reach out to your designated specialist to make arrangements.
Take a virtual tour
In an effort to support the health and well-being of prospective students we also have a virtual tour of our campus and see our state-of-the-art classrooms, the amazing recreation facilities, and our world-class concert hall.

Attend a virtual drop-in Admissions Info & Planning session
Offered virtually most Wednesday and Thursday Afternoons.
This virtual drop-in Admissions Info & Planning session is best suited for prospective or future students who would like to meet 1-on-1 with an Admissions and Recruitment Specialist to discuss the application process, and create a personalized admissions plan to get started on your application to MRU for the credit programs that we offer.
Future students who attend this drop-in session will have an opportunity to meet with an Admissions and Recruitment Specialist on a first-come-first-served basis via Google Meets breakout rooms. Please ensure that the Future Student/ Applicant registered also attends this session. You are welcome to bring along a parent or other supporter to this session however you will both need to enter as 1 guest as spots are limited to 15 students per session.
Students that would like to meet with us 1:1 that are unable to attend a drop-in session can call our office directly to schedule an appointment.
Please note: We highly recommend that students attend a Virtual Admissions Information Session prior to meeting 1-on-1 with an Admissions and Recruitment Specialist, as most commonly asked questions and information about MRU will be covered there.
