Throughout the program, Amy held the position as Vice-President of Events for the Public Relations Society. Jacqueline Civitarese— Director-at-Large/Student Representative
Jacqueline is an avid public relations enthusiast with a zest for culture, an enthusiasm for language and a passion for travel. Currently a fourth year student in the Bachelor of Communication, Public Relations program, Jacqueline has extended her learning by working towards an additional certification, the Certificate of Achievement in International Communications. She has completed both an international exchange in Vienna, Austria and an international work-experience in London, England, where she worked at a boutique public relations agency.
Jacqueline has a passion for creative writing and uses traveling as the acting catalyst for her stories. When not writing strategic communication plans, creating social media campaigns or writing press releases, you can find her immersed in a classroom learning a new language—she currently speaks Italian and is hoping to build upon her recent knowledge of the German language.
In the past four years of her studies, Jacqueline has tried to embrace all opportunities presented to her. She is a member of IABC and volunteers for IABC's Volunteer Portfolio. She is also an active member of the mentorship program that is offered for public relation students and spends her spare time volunteering with different organizations throughout Mount Royal University.
Jacqueline likes the fast-paced environment of the communications world and is excited to graduate next year. Already visiting and/or living in over 39 countries, Jacqueline hopes to gain a position in the tourism and hospitality industry with a company that will provide her the opportunity to travel and learn about different cultures and languages.
