Credit studies or Continuing Education studies
Credit
Mount Royal offers many opportunities for learning. There are some registration differences between credit studies and continuing education studies that affect how you access, register and pay for your courses.
Mount Royal offers more than 60 credit programs including: bachelor degrees, applied degrees, university transfer programs, diplomas and certificate programs.
Open Studies allows students to upgrade through Grade 12 equivalent courses, or explore a variety of credit courses that count towards your intended program.
If you are accepted into a credit program, you will receive an information package on advising and course registration.
Continuing Education Studies
Mount Royal offers lifelong learning with a variety of courses and certificate programs through the Faculty of Continuing Education and Extension.
Mature students can choose from certificate and certificate of completion programs, full-time career certificates, online and distance certificates, and designations issued by professional associations for professional development or personal interest.
Please visit Continuing Education and Extension for more information about programs and courses.
Students who have previously registered in courses can register online using MyMRU. Course registration for all students can also be processed by phone, fax or in person.
