The Conservatory offers many afternoon student recitals throughout the year, usually on Sundays. These events are free to the public and are intended to be valuable performance experiences for well-prepared students of the Conservatory and its Branch Studio Association.
Informal performance opportunities are offered through Conservatory faculty by way of test classes, where students are able to practice the art of performance in a more casual atmosphere. These classes are arranged by individual instructors.
Accompanists are available at no charge to registered Conservatory and Associate Branch Studio students for test classes and regularly scheduled afternoon student recitals.
Accompanists are also available to provide other rehearsal and performance services, but the cost of these services is the responsibility of the student. For information on accompanists for these services, call the Conservatory office at 403.440.6821.
