| Academy for gifted youth | An enrichment program for gifted young musicians; in the disciplines of piano, strings, winds and brass, guitar and voice. |

| Choirs and Vocal Ensembles | Come sing with us! From private lessons to group classes, choirs and vocal ensembles, we have a program for every voice. |
| Orchestras and Instrumental Ensembles | The Conservatory hosts many performance ensembles: choirs, orchestras and performing groups who, in addition to weekly rehearsals, host regular recitals and perform in the community. |

| Elasticus: Contemporary Music Ensemble | An ensemble which explores the rich tradition of experimental music written since the 1960s by composers such as Robert Ashley, Gavin Bryars, John Cage, Morton Feldman, Steve Reich, Terry Riley, Giacinto Scelsi & John White. |
| Mount Royal Harp Ensemble | Comprised of young harpists from the Calgary area, the MRU Harp Ensemble provides an exceptional opportunity to interact with fellow students, learning about aspects of harp playing in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. |
| Purcell Early Music Ensemble | The Purcell Early Music Ensemble is a community-based music group that focuses on an Historically Informed Performance approach to pre-19th century repertoire. |
| Adult Violin Class | An intimate group class that will focus on violin basics/beginnings exclusive to adult learners. The six week module will comprise weekly, one-hour classes on consecutive Tuesday evenings (7 p.m.). The group environment allows for peer support and camaraderie, while the small class size allows for individual attention. Tuition for the six-week module is $120. |
