The high level steps in the process are:
- Defining the need
July to September 2018
Boyden consults with stakeholders in individual meetings, a survey and focus groups. Input is reviewed by the Search Committee to finalize the position profile and marketing strategy.
- Identifying candidates
September to December 2018
Boyden implements the marketing strategy, develops a candidate list, does initial interviews with candidates and presents a long list to the Committee.
- Deciding and finalizing
December 2018 to February 2019
The Committee shortlists candidates and does interviews. Boyden and the Committee check references and background. The Board of Governors negotiates the offer, oversees acceptance, ratifies the decision and announces.
