Canadian University Survey Consortium (CUSC)
CUSC has investigated student experiences and satisfaction since 1994 in order to gain a better understanding of the Canadian undergraduate student population. Prior to 2010, Mount Royal was a shadow participant. Since becoming a member of the Association of Universities and Colleges of Canada (AUCC) in Fall 2010, MRU is now integrated into the aggregated CUSC data pool.
The purpose of the survey is to measure student characteristics, experiences, perceptions, and satisfaction, targeting a sub-sample of the undergraduate student population on a three-year alternating cycle:
- Middle Years (formerly All Undergraduates)
- First-year undergraduate students
- Graduating students
The results provide MRU an opportunity to assess how it is regarded by its own students and to compare itself to aggregate results of participating universities with similar enrolment characteristics.
CUSC invitations will be emailed to selected first-year students January 12, and is open until April 16. By completing this survey, respondents will be entered win the grand prize of an iPad or one of five gift cards valued at $50. Thank you, in advance, for sharing your feedback and helping us improve the Mount Royal student experience!
