Wireless Printing at MRU

Students are able to use the printers located in the Riddel Library printer room and around campus by sending the document they need printed to the printer, and then using their ONECard to release and pay for the the printing. This uses the balance in the ONECard Flex Dollars account as payment. In order to print this way, follow these steps:

Step 1 - Go to WebPrint

Open an Internet browser and navigate to webprint.mtroyal.ca, or click the "Go to WebPrint" button.:

 

 

 

 This page is only accessible while on campus connected to the university wifi.

Step 2 - Choose a Printer 

Select the printer you will be using to print your work. The printers you can select are across campus, and are not all accessible to all students. Below are the printers and where they are located.

Step 3 - Document Information

Click Choose-Files.png to select the document you want to submit for printing. All standard file formats are supported.

Copies The default setting is 1 copy. If you need more copies, enter the appropriate number up to a maximum of 10.
Page Range Enter a range in the format (x-y). E.g. 3-3 or 5-8.

Step 4 - Print Options

Paper

  • All printers will have Letter - Letter - 8 1/2 x 11 as an option. This is the default setting.
  • Tabloid or 11 x 17 in printing is NOT available.

 

Color

  • Option displays only if the selected printer is capabale of printing colour as well as blank & white.

(Long edge of the paper will be on the left side)

Double Sided (long) is the Default setting and will flip on the left side of the page. double-sidd-long-portrait.png

(Long edge of the paper will be on the top side.)

(Orientation is based on what is saved in the uploaded document)

(Images that do not fit page will be scaled down to fit)

Step 5 - Job Submission

  • Once you submit your print job, the Jobs in this Session section will appear and the print job will show with a status of Processing.
  • Jobs take between 5 and 30 seconds to move to the Complete status.
  • Once a job has moved to the Complete status, it can be printed at the printer that was selected in Step 2.
