Karin Léauté joined the Department of Languages and Cultures at Mount Royal in 1982 as a Sessional Instructor, teaching both German and French and is currently responsible for the German program at Mount Royal. Previously she had taught Beginners'and Scientific German at U of A. She brings her keen personal interest in technology and computer skills into the classroom by providing her students with and maintaining a lively and informative website, where they can download supplementary class material, navigate their way to their homework or tune in to the latest news and events in German speaking countries. Annual extended stays in Germany and Austria serve to keep her German current and her cultural content fresh.
