Brenda joined the Bissett School of Business as a part-time instructor in 2002. She was in a full-time position, teaching Business Communication and Management Principles and Practices, during the 2008-2009 academic year. Brenda has taught numerous courses in the General Business, Supply Chain Management, and Accounting areas at Bissett, as well as General Education courses in the Faculty of Teaching and Learning. She currently teaches Business Communication and Management Principles and Practices at Bissett. Since 2010, Brenda has worked with the Academic Development Centre (ADC) developing and delivering sessions for part-time instructors within the Instructional Support Part-Time (ISPT) program.

Brenda received a Bachelor of General Studies and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Calgary. She has 25 years of business experience in both the public and private sectors in Montreal, Toronto, and Calgary, including positions in corporate and investment banking in Toronto and Calgary in the oil and gas industry in Calgary. For the past 12 years, Brenda has had a consulting practice working primarily with non-profit and small businesses.

Brenda is currently working on a research project with Dr. Leon Cygman, exploring digital literacy among business students.
