Moritz joined the SIF in 2022 and has extensive experience in the Consumer Industry through his exposure in his role at Deloitte. Moritz started investing 6 years ago after immigrating to Canada from Germany when looking for ways to finance a Canadian degree. Investing on a personal level sparked his interest in looking at graduating with a degree in Financial Analysis and pursue a career in finance. During his first year at the SIF Moritz elevated his skills in modelling, presenting and financial analysis with the help of his PM at the time. He took away the desire to pass on his knowledge to his Analyst in his second year role as a PM. This program has intensified his desire to pursue a career in finance, ideally with his current employer.
