Brett returned to MRU after completing a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice (Honours) where he developed his analytical and critical thinking skills and honed his ability to interpret social, economic, and political data. Currently in his final semester of a Bachelor of Business Administration majoring in finance, Brett has the goal of obtaining his CFA designation and to pursue a career in equity research, corporate finance, or risk management. He has over seven years of work experience in various roles within the energy industry. Brett’s passion for financial markets is reflected in his enthusiasm for valuation of securities and financial risk management. In his free time Brett enjoys scrambling on the eastern slopes of the Canadian Rockies and photography.
