
Admission to Mount Royal is competitive, meaning students with higher grades will be considered first. Grade requirements vary from program to program. Some programs may also require additional criteria such as an interview, a portfolio, an audition or a resume. Program specific admission requirements can be found in the Programs and Courses section of this website.
Fall Semester 2013
Early Admission: Dec. 1 — March 1
Applicants who have applied for admission and their file is ready for review by March 1 will be considered for Early Admission on a competitive basis and offers will be made from December forward.
You are encouraged to apply for Early Admission and provide the required grade information so that your application is considered as early as possible during the admission process.
Ongoing Admission: March 2 — Aug. 31
Based on the number of spaces still available, applicants who have applied for admission after March 1, but before Aug. 31 and their file is ready for review will be considered and further offers will be made on an ongoing basis for most programs. Please note that programs will be removed from the online application once they are declared full.
Mount Royal will consider all applicants who applied from Dec. 1 forward who did not receive an offer during Early Admission and make additional offers of admission.

*Please note that the Bachelor of Applied Interior Design, Bachelor of Education, Bachelor of Micwifery and the Bachelor of Nursing all have a March 1 application deadline. The application for admission and all supporting documents (required for admission assessment) must be received by this date.
