D2L Essentials: Attendance
The Attendance tool allows you to create class sessions, track attendance and set cause-for-concern alerts for students who are missing too many classes. You can even share attendance information with your students to enhance accountability and transparency.
You can find the Attendance tool in your classes now under Assessments in the navigation bar.

Note: The Attendance Tool does not integrate directly with the Grade Book. To add the attendance to your grades they will need to be imported manually.
Copy Attendance Into Grades
In this video, you will learn to export the attendance record and import it into the Grade Book.
