Institutional logos: An evolution

As we continue to grow and adapt to the needs of our students and community, our logo evolves too — modernizing while staying connected to our roots. The folding chevron shape symbolizes an open book or door, representing education, opportunity and the opening of minds — all core principles of Mount Royal University.

The wordmark honours our history with a typeface inspired by our first logo as a university, continuing our presence as a dynamic and distinguished leader in higher education.

MRU Brand Shared Drive

A one-stop shop for MRU logos, brand guidelines, templates and assets to ensure consistency in communications. All employees will automatically see the new ‘MRU Brand Shared Drive’ under the shared drives folder of their mtroyal Google Drive account where these can be accessed.

Guidelines, logos and templates

To access the guidelines and logo files, you will need to be logged in to your mtroyal account. All employees will see the ‘MRU Shared Brand Drive’ under the Shared Drives folder of their Google Drive account. Logos can be downloaded directly from the Google Drive for use.

Employees can also use the email signature template for updating their personal email signatures for their mtroyal account.
