Transcripts for Admission to MRU
November 20, 2024
We understand that some applicants may be concerned about delays in transcript submissions due to the Canada Post strike.
Along with accepting official mailed copies of transcripts from the issuing institution, Mount Royal University also accepts official transcripts sent directly from the issuing institution by email (transcripts@mtroyal.ca) or fax (403.440.6339). We encourage applicants to inquire if issuing institutions can send official transcripts in this way for the time being.
We request that applicants refrain from sending unofficial transcripts to Mount Royal - these documents will not be processed or considered with applications at this time. For Fall 2025 applications to be considered for early admission, the application and all official transcripts must be received by February 1, 2025. Should we determine that the strike may cause delays beyond this due date, we will communicate adjustments to deadlines if necessary.
For questions, please contact Admissions and Recruitment by email: aro@mtroyal.ca or phone 403.440.5000 (option 5).

What education do I have to declare?
When you apply to Mount Royal University, you are required to declare every prior high school and post-secondary institution you have attended, regardless of how long you attended or its relevance to your program of interest. Failure to accurately declare your full educational history is a breach of the terms and conditions you agree to upon applying to MRU, and could result in consequences including longer processing times, admission being revoked, or other consequences as determined by Student Community Standards.
Please check the "My Application Status" section of your Future Student Portal to review the educational history you have declared. If you have attended additional high school or post-secondary institutions that are not listed on your Future Student Portal, please contact us immediately at aro@mtroyal.ca so we can update your application.
