Mustansar Nadeem named new vice-president of finance and administration services

Mount Royal University announces the appointment of Mustansar Nadeem as vice-president, finance and administration services as of Aug. 1, 2022.

Nadeem’s extensive professional background in progressively senior roles in post-secondary has allowed him to develop leadership skills through supporting finance, human resources, information technology, risk management and administrative services units across complex organizations.

Most recently, Nadeem served as vice-president, administration at Mount Saint Vincent University (Halifax, Nova Scotia), following just over two years at Olds College (Olds, Alberta) as vice-president, corporate services and chief financial officer. Prior to joining Olds College, he served as director of finance and administration at Parkland College (Yorkton, Saskatchewan).

Nadeem has direct experience with executive leadership in financial reporting, digital transformation strategy and implementing a strategic plan process. He has shared that Mount Royal’s new strategic planning framework caught his attention and he looks forward to contributing to the work being done to move it forward.

Nadeem is a certified general accountant with a Bachelor of Commerce in accounting from Mount Allison University. He also holds a Master of Business Administration from Laurentian University.
