Phil Warsaba named vice-president, students

Phil Warsaba has been appointed as vice-president, students, at Mount Royal University effective immediately.

Warsabba has 20 years of experience supporting students in teaching, research, support and administrative roles and has been a member of the Mount Royal community for over a decade. He was welcomed to campus as the associate vice-president, enrolment management in 2011 prior to taking on his current role as vice-provost and associate vice-president, students in 2019.

Before coming to MRU, he gained valuable experience in student affairs, enrolment management and international education by serving as director, recruitment and student life at NAIT as well as manager, student academic success centre at Carleton University, where he also earned a Master of Arts in Applied Language Studies.
