Guy is interested in music theory and aesthetics; Ecological approaches to music perception; Music and liberal arts education curriculum and pedagogy; Music understanding and the body; Movement and Dance; Technology and Ideology.
Teaching Statement:
Guy approaches the classroom as a unique opportunity to pursue ideas through dialogue, discussion, and through presentations and exercises that utilize unconventional means to explore manifold ways of understanding.
