Welcome to Access and Inclusion Services
Access and Inclusion Services supports members of the University in creating an accessible, equitable, and inclusive learning environment. We provide services and support to faculty/staff and students who fall under protected grounds as defined by Alberta Human Rights Legislation.
Services for eligible students experiencing disabilities:
- Assessment of academic accommodation-related needs based on documentation of disability
- Screening for learning disorders
- Assistance with applying for "Canada Student Grant for Students with Disabilities" grants
- Accessing approved accommodations
- Accommodated exams
- Assistive technology assessment and supports
- Access supports coordination (note-takers, scribes, strategists, sign language interpreters)
- Information about and referral to other student services on campus
- Academic Strategy sessions
