Heather has many years of experience working with children and families. This included work with the Cerebral Palsy Association in BC and various programs in Calgary, including the Mount Royal Childcare Centre. She has also been a contract instructor at Mount Royal in the Department of Child Studies and Social Work. and taught online courses with Grande Prairie and Red Deer College. Heather was also involved in Phases of the Alberta Curriculum Framework Pilot Project.
