Jennifer is an Associate Professor at Mount Royal University in Calgary, Alberta, Canada who teaches across the Bachelor of Nursing program as well as in the Bridge to Canadian Nursing program. She has a strong clinical focus in maternal-newborn nursing and continues to practice as a registered nurse in this setting alongside her educator role. She also maintains current licensure with the Minnesota Board of Nursing in the United States of America. Jennifer has a keen interest in and serves in various leadership and curriculum development roles. Jennifer is actively involved with the Mokakiiks Centre for Scholarship of Teaching and Learning and her research and scholarly pursuits surround developing and examining innovative teaching and learning strategies that support students in preparation for the registered nurse licensure examination and future registered nurse practice.
