Dr Cummins' research has included outer-sphere complexes of chromium, Glenmore Reservoir and Bow River water quality, the measurement of low gas pressure using differential manometry, using soap bubble respirometry to measure enthalpy changes.. He was previously employed as Chief Chemist (Trans Canada Resources), and Laboratory Manager ( Aquatic Environments Ltd ). His teaching uses distance delivery and computer managed learning. COOP education has connected students and employers in order to improve employment prospects of MRU environmental science graduates.
