• MRU Carpool Program
Carpooling is a great way to reduce both your carbon footprint, and the cost of gas. If you live near others who also travel back and forth to Mount Royal University every day, then carpooling could be a good option for you.

Students, faculty, and staff can apply for a carpool permit (which is less costly than a General Permit, especially when the monthly fee is divided between three or more people).

Priority Parking

There are more than 40 carpool parking stalls on campus, including priority parking in the East Gate Parkade (carpool stalls on levels 1 and 2).

Never Stranded

In the event of a medical or family emergency, if you are stuck on campus without a vehicle, the Guaranteed Ride Home (GRH) program gives carpoolers a way to get home quickly and reliably. GRH is only available to registered carpoolers.
