Graduation Eligibility

How can I determine if I am eligible to graduate?

Once you have completed all of your program and graduation requirements for your program of study, you are then eligible to graduate. For further information on graduation requirements, please refer to the General Graduation Requirements section of the Mount Royal Calendar.

To determine your eligibility to graduate follow the steps below:

  1. Check mruGradU8 and print out the audit
  2. Check the Calendar to ensure that program and graduation requirements have been met
  3. Meet with your academic advisor to review your mruGradU8 audit

Note: mruGradU8 is only one of the resources available to you for degree audit purposes. We strongly recommend that you consult the Calendar and meet with your academic advisor to ensure that you've met the graduation requirements for your program.

What happens if I am ineligible to graduate?

If you have determined at this point that you are ineligible to graduate, then there is no need to apply to graduate from your program. Instead, please speak with your advisor to determine which graduation requirements you need to complete your credentials.
