Working
G Suite | G Suite is a collection of cloud-based communication, storage, productivity and collaboration tools. Visit the G Suite Learning Centre for more information. |
Gmail | Gmail is email that's intuitive, efficient and useful. |
Calendar | Schedule meetings, events and reminders in this calendar program designed for teams. Share your schedule with others and create multiple calendars for groups. |
Drive | Google Drive provides unlimited file storage in the cloud. This allows you to easily access your files from any computer and share your work with others. |
Docs | Create and edit text documents right in your web browser — no special software is required. Even better, multiple people can work at the same time, you can see people’s changes as they make them and every change is saved automatically. |
Sheets | Sheets lets you handle task lists, create project plans, analyze data with charts and filters, and more. |
Slides | Create pitch decks, project presentations, training modules and more with Slides. |
Global Connect VPN | Use Global Connect VPN to access MRU's network and your work desktop computer. |
D2L | D2L is Mount Royal's online learning management system. Visit the Academic Development Centre for more information. |
Banner | Banner is a suite of products that contains human resource, student, finance and alumni/development information systems for MRU. |
FAST | Use this software to track internal- and external-funded research projects. |
myMRU | Access work tools, as well as timesheets, leave balances, benefits information and more on Mount Royal's online registration system and one-stop information site. |
Microsoft Office 365 Suite | Your free access to Microsoft Office 365 includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint and more. |
Project | This project management software included in Microsoft Office 365 supports scheduling, progress tracking, resource allocation and more. |
Visio | Visio is also included in your Microsoft Office 365 plan. Use this diagramming and vector graphics program to draw flowcharts, diagrams, floor plans and more. |
SMART Notebook | Use this program with SMART Boards to create interactive presentations and lessons. |
Video conferencing
Meet | Use Google Meet to video conference, share your screen, deliver a presentation, facilitate work with colleagues and much more. |
