Moving in
Welcome to your new home!
At check-in you'll pick up your unit/bedroom and mailbox keys. You must read the Accommodation Agreement, Residence Conduct Guide, and Residence Network Acceptable Use Policy before you check in.
You will also receive an email directing you to fill out a unit condition report online. It is your responsibility to examine your unit carefully and indicate on the condition report any missing items or damages within 24 hours of moving in.
If you don't submit the completed unit condition report on time, you could be held responsible for any damages to your unit, regardless of when they occurred.
Parking
During move in Lot 1, Lot 9 (West Residence) and Lot 6 (East Residence) will be free all day for parents and students moving in (See parking map). Parking on campus is free on Sundays and statutory holidays. This includes the Sunday and Monday (Labour Day) after Fall Move In Day. However, you are not permitted to park in fire lanes and no-parking zones.
Please pick up your parking permit or move your vehicle to a visitor lot as soon possible to avoid ticketing and/or towing. For more information on parking enforcement at Mount Royal, visit Parking and Transportation Services.
