Mental health nurses provide both mental and physical assessments to determine your mental health needs and connect you with the right resources on- and off-campus.
Who Has Access?
This service is available for all current MRU students, employees, and faculty at no cost, regardless of whether you are a patient of the Health Services clinic.
What to Expect From an Appointment
- A mental health nurse will assess your needs, discuss available resources, and help decide on next steps for support.
- Appointments may last up to one hour.
How to Prepare
- Bring your provincial health-care card or number.
- Complete a brief mental health screening form if needed.

Please cancel at least 24 hours in advance. Missed appointments without notice may affect access to future sessions.
