Dr. Puneet Arora is a foreign trained medical doctor and a forensic expert. He has been teaching basic medical sciences including anatomy, physiology, biochemistry and pathology. He is also a business entrepreneur in the medical esthetics industry. Puneet has been teaching at MRU since 2013 in the Personal Fitness Trainer diploma and the Massage Therapy diploma.

Laurie holds a PhD in clinical research focused in myofascial dysfunction, is a biomechanical kinesiologist (M. Kin.) and is an honours graduate of the 2200 hour massage therapy program at Mount Royal University. She is an advanced orthopedic muscle therapist and enjoys working with athletes (and weekend warriors) at all levels. She specializes in kinesthetic therapeutic massage, sport massage, deep tissue, trigger point, rehabilitation, and pre/post-surgical treatments. Currently Laurie, is part of the medical teams as a massage therapist for both the Calgary Stampeders and Calgary Roughnecks and has previously worked with the Calgary Hitmen. In 2018, Laurie earned her PhD in Myofascial Tissue Dysfunction with a focus on non-surgical intervention of Dupuytren's Contracture. Laurie is a current member of the Massage Therapy teaching faculty at Mount Royal University and an active member in good standing with the Canadian Sport Massage Therapist Association and the Remedial Massage Therapy Association.

Mariah works in a chiropractic clinic where her treatments are primarily focused on deep tissue work,as well as sports massage and working on specific injuries to help clients attain relief & healing. Mariah has been an outreach supervisor since 2021.

Mike has been practicing massage therapy for more than15 years and has over 13 years of teaching experience from Nova Scotia and Alberta. He has had a multifaceted career, from cruise ships to therapeutic clinics and spas. Mike has been integral in setting up a training academy in the UK for a large cruise ship spa company, and has also helped create regulatory exams. Mike has been teaching at MRU since 2010.

In addition to instructing in the Massage Therapy program, Kenneth is the Assistant Coach with MRU's Women's Basketball team. Kenneth is a passionate instructor and with his combined background in business, consulting, and physical education, he creates a learning environment that boosts his students experience. Sarah Orton, PhD
Dr. Orton studied pharmacology (BSc) at McMaster University in Ontario, then completed her PhD in Clinical Medicine at the University of Oxford, UK. Her research interests focus on the genetic and environmental causes of Multiple Sclerosis, with a particular interest in susceptibility factors such as vitamin D deficiency and vitamin D-related genetics. She joined MRU in 2012 and teaches various Anatomy, Physiology and Biology courses in Continuing Education and Biology departments as well as MCAT courses outside of MRU. She has always been passionate about and excelled in teaching and this is her current academic focus.
Dr. Orton received the 2018 Distinguished Teaching Award in the non-credit category for her excellence in teaching and dedication to students.

Kaley is passionate about restorative, therapeutic work, with a focus on the shoulder girdle, head/TMJ, and glutes.

Erin has been practicing in a variety of settings and has settled into a chiropractic clinic since graduating from the Mount Royal Massage Therapy program in 2014. Since leaving school she has continued her education with Lymphatic Drainage courses from the Chikly Health Institute. Erin enjoys helping students study and discover ways to make textbook knowledge applicable and relevant in the practical environment.
