The Mount Royal University Faculty of Arts Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) Committee comprises faculty and students committed to championing and upholding the significance of EDI matters within the Department of Arts. Our mission is to cultivate an environment in the Faculty of Arts that embraces diversity, fostering an inclusive community.

Embracing the role of advocates, our committee actively promotes EDI matters through various channels such as faculty presentations, engaging guest speakers, and other platforms. We are dedicated to sparking internal discussions and presentations, acting as catalysts for increased awareness and attention to EDI issues.

Our goal is to support and empower every member of our community, including faculty, staff, and students. Collaboratively, we work towards fostering an inclusive culture within our academic unit and community.
