My experiences as an oral storyteller, library programmer and Parent-Child Mother Goose facilitator have fostered my academic interest in Children's Literature, Folktales and Oral Traditions. I earned a multi-disciplinary Master of Arts in Children's Literature from University of British Columbia, leading me to teach courses in this specialized field. As well, I instruct general composition and literature courses. In all classrooms, I strive to foster an atmosphere that actively encourages student interest and engagement.
