Kelly Hewson happily taught composition, poetry, film, and post colonial literatures at MRC and MRU.  Since retiring in 2015, she has collaborated on conference presentations and publications focussing on decolonising pedagogies and border studies; continued to support Faculty of Arts’ initiatives, the Library’s Indigitization Project, and bursaries for students with learning challenges; and attempted to keep in touch with her colleagues.  While she does not view retirement as a competitive sport, she nevertheless feels compelled to embark on numerous adventures, physical, emotional and intellectual, until she drops.
