Security Services responds to alarms and accidents, provides emergency first aid and responds to unusual activity on campus 24/7. Your safety, and ensuring a safe and secure learning environment is our main concern.
Based in the belief that that there is safety in numbers, security will escort individuals who do not wish to walk alone while on campus.
To access SAFEWalk, you can either stop by Campus Security (X200) or call Security using one of the information phones, pay phones or your cell phone.
When you call 403.440.6897 simply give the dispatcher your name, location and destination.

- The True North Society (formally Wheatland Crisis Society) provides an emergency shelter program that includes a child and youth care program. Clients are offered supportive counselling, assistance and referrals on our crisis line and during their stay. If we are full, we will do our best to help families find another safe place. Families stay together in their own bedroom for one night up to three weeks.

- The Centre for Sexuality offers free, short-term counseling services related to sexuality and sexual health, rapid HIV and STI testing for gay, bisexual, and other men who have sex with men, relationship and sexual health education, as well as programs for parents and Two Spirit and LGBTQ+ individuals. There is also a program for boys ages 14-15 and girls in grades 4-6.
