Dr. Jodi Nickel was recognized this spring for her outstanding commitment to teacher candidates with two distinguished awards. 

Professor Nickel has been awarded the Distinguished Faculty Award for Excellence in Scholarly Teaching, Service and Scholarship. This award celebrates outstanding performance by faculty in all aspects of their role and the ongoing enhancement of their teaching and scholarship. Recipients of this prestigious award demonstrate excellence in scholarly teaching, leadership in service, and significant accomplishments in scholarship.

In addition, Jodi was awarded SAMRU's Teaching Excellence Award, an honour reflecting our student community's deep appreciation and admiration.
