Jordan completed his BSc in Human Kinetics from the University of Ottawa and completed his MKin degree in 2010. He certified as an exercise physiologist in 2011. Jordan began instructing at MRU in 2011 across the anatomy, biomechanics and strength training courses. In 2012, he added the responsibilities of MRU conditioning coach to the list.

Jordan left MRU in May 2014, to join the University of Calgary, as the exercise physiology lab supervisor. Pedagogy wise, he was responsible for undergraduate and graduate curriculum design and instruction. His supervisory role entailed equipment purchase, maintenance and training of lab personnel.  He considers himself fortunate to have played a small role in the development of students now contributing across athletic, clinical and occupational realms.
