My physical education journey began many years ago at Mount Royal College where I completed my physical education diploma! I transferred to the University of Lethbridge where I completed a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Education degree. Years later, I completed my Masters of Education from the University of Alberta. Within the past four years, I have had the opportunity to work for Alberta Education, with both curriculum and learning and teaching resources.

I have always been an advocate for health and physical education. For the past 30 years, I have had the opportunity to share with both students and teachers my passion for movement. The best part of my teaching career was becoming an elementary physical education specialist. It is a full circle moment for me, to join the Health and Physical Education Department! I am excited to be a part of this amazing team!
