Year at a glance - University Entrance Option

In your year of University Entrance Option, you will be able to work with your Academic Advisor on a plan for admission to your intended program. It is important that you understand your academic plan and notify your advisor if your plans change throughout the year.


 U1 - Fall Semester

  • Take 4 courses
  • NO upgrading Courses
  • Aim to achieve a reduced GPA average on these 4 courses by Dec 31.

Important deadlines

  • Aug. 15, 2022 - Fees due for registered students
  • Sept. 16, 2022 - Add/Drop deadline, (last day to adjust registration)
  • Oct. 1, 2022 - Feb. 1, 2023 - Apply to new programs now!
  • Nov 18. 2022 - Withdraw deadline
  • Dec. 2022 - Check final Grades

Did you achieve your U1 GPA average? If you did, then keep following your original advising plan. If you didn’t then meet with an advisor to discuss U2 by Jan. 13, 2023.

 

Don't forget to apply for early admission!

 U2 - Winter Semester

  • Take 3-4 courses
  • Take an upgrading course (if needed)
  • Aim to achieve un-reduced GPA average on most recent 4 courses by Apr. 30.

Important deadlines

  • Jan. 13, 2023 -Add/drop deadline (last day to adjust registration)
  • Feb. 1, 2023 - Last day to apply for early admission
  • Mar. 17, 2023 - Withdraw deadline
  • Apr. 2023 - Check final grades

Did you achieve your U2 GPA average? If you did, then keep following your original advising plan. If you didn’t then meet with an advisor before May 5 to discuss your options.


 Optional - Spring Semester

  • Take 1-2 courses (if needed)
  • Take upgrading courses (if needed)

  • May 5, 2022 - Add/drop deadline
  • June 3, 2022 - Withdraw deadline
  • June 2022 - Check final grades
