About a decade ago I was gifted the opportunity to create a Conflict course from scratch in GNED, and it lead me down a rabbit hole of personal data collection, use, and protection. Our core biographical data - information that is very specific and personal to us - is the most lucrative commodity that exists on the planet. My interest is in pulling back the curtain on the very deepest depths of those who want our personally identifiable data, how they obtain it, and what they do with it.
Teaching Statement:
It is an ongoing dialogue between the instructor and students, each one teaching and learning from one another. The information flows in a circle, back and forth, so that we are all elevated in our understanding of current and relevant topics. I teach with a genuine passion for the subject area and nothing I do requires testing or examination.
