Scholarly Interests:
She works on the history of the Canadian insurance industry with her earlier work focused on the history of public automobile insurance in Canada. She is currently researching a book on insurance industry responses to climate related events and has acted as a certified expert witness on Canada’s insurance history. She is also working with the Fair Access to Insurance Roundtable in Calgary, a group run by the Canadian Poverty Institute that brings together scholars and industry representatives who are committed to addressing the growing gap in access to insurance.
