Maria Teresa Grillo Publishes New Book
Dr. María Teresa Grillo, Associate Professor of the Department of English, Languages, and Cultures has released her book Discursos de la nación pendiente. Reflexiones sobre el testimonio de enunciación andina en el Perú (Discourses on the unaccomplished nation. Reflections on Andean indigenous "testimonio" in Peru). It was published by Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos/Pakarina editions in November 2016.
The book, which has received positive reviews, examines discourses by Andean indigenous authors, analyzing their perceptions and aspirations, as well as indigenous subjectivities with regard to the process of national inclusion.
