Supports for
our community

MRU offers a range of resources and functions to support members of the community. We collaborate and work closely with many departments and areas to support a strong network of equity, diversity, inclusion and accessibility (EDIA)-related functions, services and efforts across campus. Please note these operational areas are not necessarily owned, managed or reported to by the EDI Office.

All-gender washrooms

All members of our campus community have the right to an environment that is safe and supportive of their needs. Providing a greater range of washroom types by including more all-gender options promotes safety and ease of use by all, including increased comfort through choice, privacy and accessibility.

Good Human Campaign

The Good Human Campaign encourages the MRU community to be a catalyst for positive change by recognizing and encouraging personal and societal transformation. It's about being kind, empathetic and helping to create an inclusive environment where all members on campus feel they belong. The campaign focuses on how kindness is demonstrated through intentional behaviors and reinforced through positive recognition.
