Mount Royal University offers a wide variety of parking options. Parking on campus requires a valid permit or payment. Payments can be made through the HotSpot app on your phone, at a Pay Terminal or through the quick links below.

PARK AND PAY TERMINALS
Mount Royal University also has six Park and Pay terminals. All pay terminals accept coins, Visa or Mastercard. You do not need a HotSpot account to make coin or credit card payments.
Park and Pay terminals are located at the following locations:
- Lot 6A - in front of the Riddell Library and Learning Centre
- Lot 7 - in front of the Mount Royal Conservatory entrance
- Lot A
- P2 lobby in the East Gate Parkade
- West Gate entrance
- Recreation entrance
Parking under 30 minutes is complimentary via registering your plate with a Park and Pay terminal. You don't need to display a daily parking receipt in your vehicle. The integrated parking system sends your license plate number and parking information to our parking enforcement officers.
How Do the Park and Pay Terminals Work?
The Park and Pay system is easy to use:
- Park your vehicle in a Mount Royal University parking lot
- Visit the nearest Park and Pay Terminal
- Follow the prompts: enter your license plate number, select the amount of time you'd like to park, and pay with your credit card, or coins (no change is provided)
- You're on your way!
