Get your ONECard

All students, staff, and faculty need a ONECard. It is your official Mount Royal University ID. Your ONECard provides you with access to buildings, labs, and offices, and allows you to access on-campus services such as printing.

Follow the instructions on this page to get your ONECard if you are:

  • A student at MRU or the Mount Royal Conservatory
  • An employee of MRU
  • In a Nursing or Midwifery program (and need a clinical ID)
  • A past or new Alumni
  • Retiring from the university

Get your ONECard in three easy steps

Follow the steps below to get your ONECard!

Your first ONECard is provided for free. If you need a replacement ONECard, you will be charged a fee of $20 at the time of pickup. To request a replacement, fill out the print request form.

If you previously filled out this form but need to update some information, complete the Print Request Form again and select "No Card Request - Update Existing Card Request" when choosing your card type.

1) Fill out a print request form

Fill out the Print Request Form below to get your ONECard. If you are in a midwifery or nursing program, you will also need a clinical ID. You can request this at the same time as your ONECard by noting it on the print request form.

When you fill out the form, you can choose how you want to receive your ONECard:

  • Pick up in person: You will receive an email notification when your ONECard is ready. The email will have all the details about where to go to pick up your card. Please do not come to pick up your card until you have received the email notification.
  • Mail delivery: Your ONECard will be mailed to you once your application is complete and the card has been printed.

2) Upload a photo to be used on your ONECard

After you've filled out the Print Request Form, you will be redirected to the ONECard Portal to submit a photo for your ONECard. Follow the instructions to submit a photo of yourself, and a photo of your government issued photo ID.

3) Receive your ONECard

Once you've filled out the print request form and submitted a photo, we will process your request and print your card. If you chose to pick up your card in person, you will receive an email when your card is ready for pick up. Please bring a piece of government issued photo ID with you when coming to pick up your card so we can verify your identity.

If you chose to have your ONECard mailed to you, you don't have to do anything else. We will get your card mailed to you once we have finished processing your request.

If there are any problems with your application, we will reach out via email to get them resolved.

That's it!

You're all set to get your ONECard and have a great semester!
