Long service milestones
The efforts of our employees who support the University in achieving its mission of providing meaningful and engaged learning opportunities, deserve to be recognized and celebrated. MRU appreciates and thanks employees for their time and dedication to realizing this vision.
Here are the milestones that are celebrated at the institutional level, starting at the first-year milestone, along with the recognition provided for each.

Forty years | An acrylic award commemorating 40 years of service. $400 addition to the employee’s HSA/PSA, Everything Card, or scholarship donation. |

Twenty years | An acrylic award commemorating 20 years of service. $200 addition to the employee’s HSA/PSA, Everything Card, or scholarship donation. |
Fifty years | An acrylic award commemorating 50 years of service. $500 addition to the employee’s HSA/PSA, Everything Card, or scholarship donation. |

What if I am not eligible for an HSA/PSA contribution?
- You will still be given the option to donate the monetary amount to a scholarship at MRU in your name and receive a donation receipt for your contribution, OR receive an everything card.
Does milestone recognition equal/tie to seniority?
- No, this program does not tie into seniority. While these numbers may be identical, they are not related.
Is MRU replacing the service wall?
- The physical service wall will not be replaced. However, we are looking into alternative options as part of the Celebrate U portfolio.
