In 2022 it was determined that we needed to redesign our recognition program to align with our strategic goals, vision, and values. With this in mind, Human Resources consulted employee groups across campus in an effort to better understand where we needed to go in order to better celebrate the achievements of our community. From this work, Celebrate U was created. 

Focusing on three main areas — formal recognition, informal recognition and everyday recognition — Celebrate U is designed to ensure that all employees, regardless of their role, have the ability to give and receive recognition to celebrate accomplishments big and small.
