BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Sean Simoes is an Assistant Professor of Supply Chain Management at the Bissett School of Business. He joined Mount Royal University after completing his PhD in management at the University of Calgary. Prior to that, Sean worked in industry for almost twenty years as a plant manager, program leader (new product introduction), management consultant, and sales engineer for multinational companies including Cummins and Emerson. He aims to integrate his education and experience into his teaching and research endeavours.

RESEARCH AND SCHOLARLY WORK
Current Projects

Sean’s research focuses on how companies adapt to changing market conditions, and also on how multinational companies contribute to social and environmental sustainability. He is currently working on a qualitative comparative analysis of a company that has reconfigured numerous times over its 150-year history, and a case study of a Calgary-based company that is evaluating growth options.
